Do you think furniture is just for humans? It’s not; there is a huge market for pet furniture today. What is pet furniture you ask? It is any piece of furniture made specifically for animals. The most basic ones are the tanks and cages that house birds, reptiles, fish, and rodents. Other iconic pieces of pet furniture are the doghouse and doggy door.

But there are more kinds of pet furniture than just that. For instance there are couches specifically for your dog or cat to lie on. These couches come in styles to match any décor, are easy to clean, and best of all will give rover or princess their own place to relax while keeping your couch available to you.

Specifically for cats, you can get litter box covers and scratching posts. A litter box cover serves two functions. One, it can keep the smell down, and two it can be designed to look like just about anything else, such as an end table. This will keep your cat from going far out of its way to use the bathroom while keeping with the style of a room. Scratching posts are a must have for any cat owner that wants to keep all their drapes and furniture in good repair. These posts allow your cats to exercise their claws without shredding valuable furniture.
